This lab has two parts. There is a worksheet for the first part in Blackboard. The second part is a vpython program. The document for this is also in Blackboard.
Oh, there is one change. The lab says to put these springs on the force sensor. Don’t do that. Instead, use the plunger on the cart as the spring during the collision. Here is an image of my setup.
Why is there paper under the track? That is there to make sure the track is level.
