Attention PLAB 223 Students

Hello students,

I hope you check this page every once in a while.  If not, you probably won’t read this notice.  Oh well.

First, a note to both sections. Don’t forget about lab reports. I posted a note about starting a blog – and maybe that will help. If you have any questions, ask.

PLAB Monday Afternoon Students

It has been quite some time since I have seen you. Do you miss me? Just to be clear, on Monday we are doing Lab 3. Please look over this stuff (including the documents I posted on blackboard) before class. What else can you do to prepare? Well, you could brush up on your momentum principle understanding.

Here is an older post with videos about the momentum principle. Hope that helps.

Also, don’t forget that this is the last lab in which you will not have an assessment. The next monday, we will start off with a test. Here are the details on the test (in case you forgot).

PLAB Friday Morning Students

Ok, you had your first assessment. Now maybe you have an idea about what to expect. Like I said in class, we will now do 1 assessment each lab (at the beginning). Next week, you should be able to do work-energy type problems. I am not going to ask anything about potential energy, just plain work energy with kinetic energy. Need some help? How about this: stuff on work-energy.
